Peru
Peru is a country with an abundance of broad, epic landscapes to photograph. From the ancient Inca ruins of Machu Picchu, to the Amazonian rainforest and Andes mountain range, these all defy expectation and imagination when witnessed in real life.
That said, I photographed my travels in Peru with an objective to see beyond the obvious. Peruvian culture is rich and expansive, stretching across towns and villages. I found just as much character in one of the seven wonders of the world, as I did among the small side streets and rustic mud-stained walls of Old Ollantaytambo.
My gallery of limited-edition prints moves between subjects of breath-taking majesty and simplistic charm. While my Caribbean photography captures dazzling pastels and brightly painted walls, in Latin American Peru, I discovered natural textures and earthy tones.
