Hidden Under the Hills
Within the hills and mountains of the Lake District, small pockets of houses can be found tucked away, safe from the elements. I had parked up in Little Langdale when I noticed a small row of terrace houses at the foot of the hills, looking towards Hodge Close. The drizzly conditions reflected light off the wet rooves, mirrored by the distant rocky ridges interspersed among the tree. As the sun illuminated the low clouds and the slow-falling rain, the camouflage of the trees revealed itself through the mists, making a beautiful and eery backdrop to the photograph.
