Hayle Millpond Mist
There are many times as a photographer that you find yourself in a place where the atmosphere is just right for the perfect photograph, and you realise your camera is not with you…
Luckily that was not the case for Hayle Millpond Mist. Hayle Millpond is a location that is very close to me geographically, therefore I know it inside and out. On any other day, one would see the park and terrace houses directly behind the wall.
On this particular day, mist had descended on Hayle in an unfamilar fashion. Seeing the Millpond like this, with all signs of modern life removed, I was grateful to have the camera with me. The pond was so still – frozen in time, reflecting the former buildings wall perfectly.
