Salzburg

The historic city of Salzburg in north-central Austria is one of the most popular winter destinations for photographers, famed for its magical Christmas markets and jaw-dropping surrounds. Dressed with beautiful Baroque architecture and surrounded by alpine mountains, it offers something to see at every turn.

During my trip here, I spent as much time as could following both winding city streets and mountain roads to capture the beauty of this incredible city. From snow-capped peaks at dawn to Salzburg’s 1,000-year-old-fortress illuminated at night-time, it took me on an incredible photographic journey.
